Award History
She received the award of the GAMABA National Artist and she has been named a national living treasure in 1998 during the administration of President Fidel Ramos. She was taught by her mother to weave at a tender age.
The National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA) presented Lang Dulay with the National Living Treasure (Manlilikha ng Bayan) award in 1998 for her contribution to the preservation of their culture and for her exquisite artistry of the delicate abaca fibers.
